1. Who is the main photographer I can hire through SlaterGraphics?
Meg Pukel of Pukel Photo is our main expert photographer on call. SlaterGraphics coordinates the creative brief and project needs with Meg. Share your date, location and type of shoot so we can confirm her availability; an inquiry does not reserve a session.
2. How do I choose a local photographer in Miami?
Look for a portfolio that fits your subject, not just attractive individual pictures. Ask about similar assignments, lighting, delivery, usage and the full scope of the quote. Review Meg’s portfolio at PukelPhoto.com and tell us which images feel right for your project.
3. What types of photography can I book?
Our photography services cover people and portraits, business imagery and places, and events and stories. Tell us whether you need individual headshots, a team portrait, interior images or event coverage so we can plan the right approach with Meg.
4. How much does it cost to hire a photographer in Miami?
We quote photography for the specific assignment rather than publish one rate for every shoot. The brief, coverage time, location, image requirements, editing and intended use all affect the scope. Send your budget and priorities for a tailored quote; ask what is included before booking.
5. Do you photograph in Miami Beach and Bay Harbor Islands?
SlaterGraphics is based in Bay Harbor Islands and coordinates Miami-area photography projects. Include the exact address, parking and building access details in your inquiry. We confirm the location, any travel costs and Meg’s availability before a booking is agreed.
6. How far in advance should I book, and can I hire someone at short notice?
Contact us once you know your preferred date, especially for an event with a fixed schedule. We can check short-notice availability, but on-call does not mean guaranteed same-day coverage. Include an alternate date when possible and wait for booking confirmation.
7. Can I book business headshots or a team photo at my office?
Ask us about an on-location portrait session with Meg. Share the number of people, intended use, available space and preferred look. We can then discuss lighting, backgrounds, the shot list and a realistic schedule around your team’s working day.
8. What should I wear and bring to a portrait session?
Choose clothing that suits how you want to be seen and fits comfortably. Simple colors and limited distracting patterns often keep attention on faces. Share outfit ideas in advance; discuss additional looks, personal items and preparation with Meg for your particular session.
9. Can you photograph interiors, businesses or brand content?
Yes—business imagery and places are part of our photography offering. Send reference images and explain where the photos will appear: website, social media, brochures or other materials. A clear shot list helps us plan spaces, details and people around your brand’s visual direction.
10. Can I hire Meg for an event, and how much coverage should I request?
Tell us the event type, venue, guest count and must-capture moments. Build coverage around the actual timeline, including arrivals, speeches and group photos. We confirm the assignment and available coverage with Meg before booking rather than promise every event or date is available.
11. Is a beach or outdoor session a good idea in Miami?
It can be, with planning for light, heat, wind and weather. Discuss the location and timing with Meg rather than choosing on scenery alone. Confirm access and any venue permissions, and agree on a weather backup or rescheduling arrangement before the session.
12. Do you provide a studio, or should I arrange the location?
Location is agreed as part of the brief. Do not assume a studio rental is included. Tell us if you prefer your office, a venue, a home or an outdoor setting so we can confirm access, space, permissions and any separate location costs.
13. How many edited photos will I receive, and when will they be ready?
The image count, selection process, editing scope, file sizes and delivery deadline are agreed for each job. Ask for those details in the quote. If you need images for a press deadline or a quick social post, raise that before booking so we can confirm what is possible.
14. Can I use the photos on my website, in advertising and in print?
Explain every intended use when requesting the quote, including advertising, print, social media and third-party sharing. Confirm the agreed usage, any permissions and whether print-ready or web-sized files are included. Do not assume all uses or RAW files are automatically part of delivery.
15. How do I book, and what happens if I need to reschedule?
Use our contact form and select photography, or call or text 305-310-0107. Include your date, location, subjects, budget and deadline. Before confirming, review the written scope, payment terms, cancellation and rescheduling arrangements. We coordinate the next steps with Meg; availability must be confirmed.
